POLICY

BLux Event Rentals & Dècor Responsibility


BLux Event Rentals & Dècor will provide excellent customer service and be on time to each and every event. BLux Event Rentals & Dècor will provide quality prop and furniture rentals in the best conditions. We try to have the best quality rentals available, but due to wear and tear over time, some items may not be in pristine conditions. BLux does not guarantee rentals items without signs of wear.




Customer Responsibility


Customer will provide access to the venue for at least two hours before the event start time and two hours for pick up after conclusion of the event to allow BLux Event Rentals & Dècor to set up and to remove rentals and decorations. Access must include vehicle parking near the venue entrance.

Any events that are rescheduled due to unforeseen weather conditions will receive full credit for a future order with a $50 rebooking fee. Please give 2 weeks prior notice when rescheduling your date.

Customer will provide adequate electrical power to meet the needs for any rentals or equipment.




Prop Rentals & Decorations


All props, furniture and decorations BLux Event Rentals & Dècor provides are daily rentals for the agreed-upon time, and BLux Event Rentals & Dècor will remove them at the conclusion of the event unless agreed otherwise.




Changes to Order


STORE CREDIT. NO REFUNDS AFTER RESERVATION.

Customer may ONLY add items to the order, subject to the same terms, once a reservation has been confirmed. Customer acknowledges that any changes to order after the first 24 hours is subject to store credit and will be held on file for 6 months from when the original order was placed.




Liability


Customer is responsible in providing a one day insurance if venue requires.

Customer is responsible for the safety and reliability of the event venue and its furnishings. Customer is also responsible for any injury, loss, death or damage from BLux Event Rentals & Dècor employees or equipment resulting from the conduct of event attendees and of staff not employed by BLux Event Rentals & Décor.




Payments & Deposit


Forty percent (40%) of the rental amount is required to secure your event date, unless agreed upon otherwise. Deposits are nonrefundable, regardless of the reason. The remaining balance MUST be paid 14 days prior to the event.

Failure to make payment 14 days prior to the event will result in a $50 late charge. If the final payment is still not received within 7 days of the event, the late fee increases to $100. Failure to make full payment within 3 days of the event will result in cancellation of the reservation and no refund nor credit will be given.

Credit card authorization forms must be filled out for each event for security purposes for any damaged or lost rentals.

We will try our very hardest to work with you in the event of unforeseen cancellations. However, all payments are nonrefundable, regardless of the reason. Clients are subject to a company credit for up to six months from the original event date.




Damage and Loss


In the event that equipment provided by BLux Event Rentals & Dècor is damaged or lost due to the actions of event attendees or of staff not employed by BLux Event Rentals & Décor, customer agrees to pay for all repair or replacement, up to the the full value of the lost or damaged items, including shipping and handling.

Please be advised, ANY damage to rentals will result in fees being charged for loss/ damage.

BLux can not control the weather. This damage includes, but; not limited to the following:

  • Damage caused by: Wind / Water / Extreme heat or cold

  • Damage from moving props that are to remain stationary

Damage or loss will be assessed as soon as possible after conclusion of the event. All visible damage will be photographed on site whenever possible.

BLux Event Rentals & Dècor will provide a documented damage/loss report with costs included within 3 days after the event. Customer must pay for the damage or loss upon receipt of the BLux Event Rentals & Dècor report.

BLux Event Rentals & Dècor has the right to refuse business to anyone.

Additional fees will apply for difficult access (Stairs, No Freight Elevator, etc.).

If drivers arrive to the event during the requested timeframe written in the contract and are unable to obtain BLux Event Rentals & Décor’s property, client must pay an additional $200 fee for next day pick up.

*Please note: Prices are for day rentals only. The cut off time is 12AM. An additional fee will apply for early morning delivery (before 9am) and after hour pickup (after 12am).




Privacy Disclosure Notice


Any information collected from our customers will not be sold, shared, or rented to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this privacy statement.




Delivery Minimum


Each reservation with BLux Event Rentals & Decor requires a minimum total amount in order for us to accommodate. The minimum reservation requirement depends on how far you are from our headquarters (21237). Please review the below to determine the minimum reservation requirement for your county. If your county/city is not listed, please inquire for more details. Rates are subject to change at any time.
